HOW DO I PLACE AN ORDER?

After your event dates have been confirmed, we will discuss your cake styling and a confirmation will be sent through.  

Once we've agreed on the details, an invoice will be sent and payment will be required at least 3 days before delivery/collection to secure your booking. 
For orders made significantly in advance, a 25% deposit is required to secure your booking, with full payment 2 weeks prior to your
event.

 

DO YOU HAVE A CANCELLATION POLICY?
Yes! For regular orders, you can cancel up to 3 day prior to delivery/collection. 

For larger orders/ orders booked further in advance you can cancel your cake order up to 14 days prior to collection/delivery date. Please note, the 25% deposit to confirm your order is non-refundable. 

I'VE SEEN A CAKE ON YOUR INSTAGRAM/WEBSITE THAT I LOVE. CAN YOU MAKE ME THAT?

Yes! Just mention this in your order request form and send a screenshot to gina@vanillaco.kitchen and I will be happy to do a similar design. Please note, no two cakes are ever identical.

 

PHOTO'S AND CAKE DESIGNS

If there is a picture you love on pintrest that you love, We won't directly copy other designers cakes, we will however, use your image as inspiration to design your cake around. Photos will be used as a guide only and exact cakes will not be replicated.
 

HOW DO I GET MY CAKE HOME?

If you have chosen to collect your cake,  the cake will be refrigerated prior to pickup and will be stable for transport. The best place to keep the cake when you're driving it home is on the floor of the car, held by a passenger or the floor of your boot.

Cakes boards are fitted securely to the box to ensure minimal movement during transport. Please note, the lid will not close completely.  

Once home, the cake can remain out of the refrigerator for up to 4 hours. Be sure to bring the cake to room temperature for at least 2 hours before serving to ensure the best possible flavour!

 

ALLERGIES

Gluten, nuts and dairy are all used regularly in the kitchen. Even if you have picked a gluten free, dairy free, or nut free option, there is no guarantee that any of our cakes will be free of allergen traces.
